Overview & Reviews
The Grand Prix underwent a redesign for 2004, but those familiar with the big sedan will find its blend of performance and comfort hasn't changed much.
- Strong supercharged V6, nimble handling, attractive gauges, easy-to-use controls, big trunk, fold-flat front-passenger seat.
- Build and materials quality still needs work, tight backseat, noisy engine, not enough storage or cupholders, no auto climate control.

Love it - 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix
By Blitzed14 - October 9 - 10:00 amAwesome car, especially for someone in my age range. If youre still young enough to want a sports car, but you cant afford a Vette, I suggest you lean in this direction.

2004 Grand Prix GT2 - 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix
By Chris - October 5 - 8:10 pmAfter 2+ years of owning this car it is still fun to drive and still looks fresh and appealing. The car needs a bit more refinement to compete against the best of its class, but the quality and reliability has been excellent. I will not purchase an import

Best in the industry - 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix
By JuliePitt - October 4 - 10:00 amI know for a fact that this car holds up well in collisions. Two weeks after We bought it, I hydroplaned in a downpoor and slammed into a retaining wall at 60 mph. This car held up well, with only minor damage, and all of us (5) in the car, were not injured at all. This car is fun to drive, responsive, and very stylish. You should see people stare as we cruise by. The 3 rear shoulder restraints are a godsend. I cant say enough good things about this car, so Ill say "Thank You Pontiac for making a car that I love!!!!"

Fun To Drive - 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix
By Ron - October 3 - 5:20 pmI have owned a lot of cars in my life but when i test drove the Grand Prix it showed that Pontiac had the driver in mind. Not only does the Grand Prix have style but it is fast, and comfortable and safe. The Grand Prix has a smooth ride and besides the front airbags the side curtain gives me comfort when i am driving my grandsons in the back. With all of the safety features I feel very comfortable behind the wheel of this car.

Almost there, but....... - 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix
By Floorit - September 8 - 10:00 amTurned in my 2002GT. Major improvement, but still needs more. I have put over 8K on it since early September with no problems. My biggest problem is with my lead foot - my gas mileage is not even close to what it should be (20 mpg on my last tank - freeway miles)! Would have preferred a MAJOR restyling, rather than an update, but its still better.

The muscle car lives....but its GM - 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix
By GhostOfDeLorean - August 25 - 3:50 pmBought the car because of the engine and cockpit interior. Yes, its dated, but the 3800 will run forever. I have the GTP Comp/G and its a head turner! Fast off the line. Have to watch over torquing into curves. TapShift is ok, but could live without. Has every option. Too bad it does not come with heated mirrors. The bad: N85 five-spoke chrome alloy wheels are crap. Nice looking but the chrome is bubbling off after three years and breaking the seal. GM will only supply reconditioned rims. Will never buy a new GM product again.

Best all around car - 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix
By Bobby - August 13 - 2:16 amRecently purchased a GT2 and I would not trade it for the world. This car is quick and quiet. It will get you to where you need to go and looks good while doing it. It also will save you a load of cash in fuel. I highly recommend this car to any consumer.
